Proper Servicing & Maintenance of the Fire Safety Systems should be done once in every 6 Months and always get it done by Firms that hold proper Fire licences (Applicable for Maharashtra) and after every half yearly maintenance always ask your maintenance and service Fire Contractor to issue the Form "B" certificate for your inspected structure(i.e. Building/ Factory/ Office etc...)
Besides this your own team should always to their routine checks (as per recommended by the system installer) to see the fire systems functioning properly every month.
